01. Fable · Co-Founder & CEO · 2019-2025
Making motion design accessible for creative teams

I founded Fable in 2019 to build the web-based creative suite and raised $22M+ from Redpoint, Collaborative, SIP, Chad Hurley, Lenny Rachitsky, and others.

I built and led a world-class team of 30+ over 6 years, grew a passionate design community, and accelerated the workflows of enterprises like Hims, Brooks Running, Weight Watchers, and Mayo Clinic.

I operated at every altitude across the org; charting the course, and making things happen with urgency and excellence.

Invisible · 2025
A programatic music experiment
Invisible is an experimental piece that uses Strudel to compose music with code. It explores the tension between what is hidden and what is possible — weaving patterns that suggest hope amidst uncertainty, moments of light within shadow, and the sense of potential eager to emerge. The piece reflects on invisibility not as absence, but as optimism and opportunity.
Currents · 2025
A study in movement, flow, and discovery

Currents is a series of one-of-a-kind generative prints created in TouchDesigner. Using layers of noise, recursive feedback, and depth mapping, my goal was to create a tactile surface that is both organic and abstract. Each piece explores the flow of discovery — patterns emerging, dissolving, and reforming. The project reflects on movement as a path to finding center: the way currents can carry us through uncertainty toward clarity and meaning.
About Chris
Leading life with curiosity and creativity

I was born in the UK and moved to the US in 2010. Over the past 20 years, I've built products across design, engineering, and leadership — first as a designer, then as an engineer, later as a product leader, and most recently as a founder/CEO.

Today I live in Rochester, New York with my wife and our pup. When I'm not at my desk, you'll likely find me wandering through museums or out on a trail. Feel free to reach out and say hello.
